About us

cosmopop GmbH is an event agency in the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region. The driving force behind cosmopop's work is music. It is our source of motivation, inspiration and inexhaustible creativity. The main activities of cosmopop are: the conception, marketing and organisation of its own national and international music and cultural festivals, the operation of clubs and open air locations, as well as services in the fields of events and music.

Your tasks will include, among other things:

- Contract and invoice processing
- Budget management
- Accounting, reviewing hotel, travel, and other invoices
- Travel and hotel management for artists, employees, promoters, business partners etc.
- Organisation and coordination of artist transfers/shuttles, including booking of rental vehicles, as well as organisation/coordination of drivers and your own driving services
- Creation of event riders/ information overviews for various events
- Preparation of requirement lists and briefing of work areas: artist desk, shuttle drivers, artist hosts, runners etc.
- Gathering of all artist requirements (technology, catering etc.) and arranging their implementation
- Communication with artist agencies (national, international)
- Interface management between the artist and marketing department for cosmopop, Zimmer and Hafen49
             Coordination of artist PR campaigns
             Approval and coordination process for artist content
             Obtaining artist promotion material
             Asset coordination
- Artist support also at weekends and in the evening/night
- Shared responsibility for trainees in the department
- General artist administration

What you can expect

Your place of work is in Mannheim. There you can expect a challenging and exciting job in the booking department, with deep insights into the electronic music and event industry. You will liaise and work closely with the management and our senior booker. We count on your help in the preparation, realisation and follow-up of our national and international festivals such as Time Warp, Love Family Park, as well as our co-operating clubs, Zimmer and Hafen 49. You will put your skills to use in a dynamic team of motivated and young colleagues. We give you a lot of freedom and room for creativity.

Your profile

You are passionate about music, especially all types of electronic music, nightlife, clubbing and festivals. You have a degree or have successfully completed an apprenticeship. Ideally, you have already gained professional experience in the event or club business. You are known as a self-confident, likeable team player. You are persistent, not easily flustered and keep a clear head even in stressful situations. You are characterised by your efficiency and analytical skills and have a great talent for organisation. You are a strong communicator in written and spoken German and English – additional foreign language skills are an advantage. Flexible working hours during the week and at weekends are a given for you. In addition, you have a class B driving licence and very good knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
