TRAINEE (M/W/D) in Marketing

cosmopop GmbH is an event agency in the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region. The driving force behind cosmopop's work is music. It is our source of motivation, inspiration and inexhaustible creativity. The main activities of cosmopop are: the conception, marketing and organisation of its own national and international music and cultural festivals, the operation of clubs and open air locations, as well as services in the fields of events and music.

Starting: immediately
During your apprenticeship, you will attend the vocational school (BBS) in Bad Dürkheim for 1.5 days a week.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING WITH YOU:
- Successfully completed high school diploma or technical college entrance qualification
- Good MS Office skills (Word, Excel & PowerPoint), driving license class B
- Very good communication skills in German and English, written and verbal; another foreign language is an advantage
- Confident handling of all common social media platforms
- First experience with content management systems is an advantage
- Good eye for graphic design and layout as well as for brand-appropriate aesthetics in general
- A careful, structured and focused way of working as well as initiative and the ability to work in a team
- Willingness to work weekends, hands-on mentality and flexibility
- Enthusiasm and immense passion for (electronic) music, clubbing and festivals
- Identification and loyalty with cosmopop and our projects

THIS AWAITS YOU:

You will gain a deep insight into the work processes of an event agency, as well as the preparation, implementation and follow-up of various events. Responsible tasks and independent work will give you extensive knowledge and a wide-ranging insight into the music business and event management. You will put your skills to good use in a team of motivated, young colleagues and a friendly working atmosphere.

The marketing trainee supports the marketing team in all its tasks. This includes the preparation, implementation and follow-up of our national and international festivals such as Time Warp, Love Family Park and Sonus Festival.
